Thiofl ex 600 is a two part joint sealant based on a liquid polysulphidepolymer. It is supplied as a 2.5 L pack containing abase component and curing agent in the correct proportionswhich, when mixed together, cure to form a tough rubber-likematerial. When cured, the sealant exhibits excellent adhesionto most surfaces including concrete, aluminium and stainlesssteel. Priming is recommended for porous surfaces and forsome specifi c surfaces and applications.Thiofl ex 600 is available in two grades. Gun grade for generalapplications and Pouring grade for joints in horizontal surfaces.Thiofl ex 600 is particularly recommended for use in high risebuildings and other applications where access for subsequentmaintenance will be diffi cult and the risk of early movementfailure must be minimised. It is also suitable for sealing jointsin subways, basements, retaining walls, reservoirs and brickworkjoints.
